At Dramatic Play we use arts infused strategies in a play-based approach to help participants better understand stories and relate those characters and situations to the real world.

Studies have shown that students in arts integrated classrooms tend to outperform their counterparts in math and language arts [1]. Students who outperform their peers are generally more likely to attend a more prestigious college or university.
Children who participated in a drama-based education program saw decreases particularly in disruptive behavior and they experienced improvements in self-regulatory behaviors [2].
Participation in the arts helps early learners to grow cognitively, emotionally and socially [3]. Arts infused programs can help children be more confident, be more self aware, express emotions appropriately, and even make friends.
